The Viridian Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that promotes research and innovation in the field of sustainable development and living. Viridian is a very stable and powerful shade of green. Patented in Paris in 1859 as a process to extract a transparent oxide of chromium, its excellent permanence and lack of toxicity lend it values that are consistent with the ‘Mainstream Green’ philosophy of the Group.
The Viridian Foundation considers itself a means rather than an end in itself. It believes that every solution that extends the quality of life is as divergent, as unique and as dialectic as life itself and must be pursued. No foundation in its design can be without optimism, however idealistic. The Viridian Foundation seeks to thus promote not just awareness but dreams that will fuel and sustain the notions that make us a more responsible society.

Additionally, the privately funded Viridian Foundation has established a series of initiatives to promote its primary tenets of Equity, Ecology and Identity.
Homemade in India is a platform that seeks to develop and harness the demographic dividend of India. It enables that to happen by providing avenues through advocacy and exemplar pilot projects across multiple sectors and geographies thereby creating an ecosystem for inclusive development.
